Setting File Options

To set file options: Select Options->Preference menu item and click File tab.

Output Folder: Folder to save movie files.
Ask for File Name: Select this if you want to name each file separately as it is recorded.
Fixed File Name: Select this if you want to set a single file name that will be overwritten with each recording. Also type the name of the file in the text box.
Automatic File Name: Select this if you want automatically created and incremented filenames for your recordings. Also type the name of a destination Output Folder in the text box provided. This folder must already exist. Alternatively, you can select an existing folder by clicking on to folder open icon to locate one. Files will be saved with the prefix you supply and a number, such as Movie-001.avi, Movie-002.avi, and so on.
Temporary: Screen Recorder Gold creates temporary files while it records. These temporary files can become large and potentially cause problems if your system runs out of disk space. You can specify a directory to place temporary files in.
