Setting Audio Options
To set audio options: Select Options->Preference menu item and click Audio tab.
- Device: Select a sound card as the device for sound recording, some system has more than one sound card installed.

Recording Format: The recording format is the format your sound card uses to record your voice from the
sound card. The main attributes are samples per second (measured in kHz), mono/stereo input, and bits
per sample (usually 8 or 16 bit). Larger values for samples per second and bits per sample result
in higher recording quality, but also create a larger movie file size. If you choose to compress the
final audio data, the recording format is determined by the compressed format; If you don't want to
compress the audio data, you should select PCM as the compressed format, Screen Recorder Gold will choose
the PCM format you selected as the recording format. If you change your compressed format, the recording
format also changes automatically.
- Compressed Format: The compressed format is the format that is saved with your movie file.
- Default: Left Screen Recorder Gold choose a default compressed format for you.
